International Conspiracy

It's been awhile since I've done an update on the Conspiracy (ie, my Stat Counter and Google Analytics tracking of this blog). I thought this map was pretty neat, though, showing the far-flung scope of readers we've received since we started tracking in mid-January:

And if anyone has any friends in Red China (or Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Greenland, or any obscure African nation) please send them a link to the blog! They don't even have to be interested in the topic; they just have to visit once and it will count!!!

    Is 8164 the number of unique US visitors, or the total number of hits?

    Unique "visits". Which is a nebulous thing that isnt the same as visitors, but also isnt the same thing as unique pageviews. I think, like...it counts anyone who has visited multiple times or pages within the same half-hour as one visit.

You are welcome to disagree with me and with each other. Civil debate is a valuable way to test and exchange ideas. Do keep it civil, though. Any really offensive craziness will either be held up as an example of What We Don't Stand For, or deleted.
